Scott's musical journey began to gain momentum in the 1970's with the bands Stranger, and The Roosters. As a favorite opening act at The Keystone Berkeley, and other popular area venues, they opened shows for The Ventures, Wilson Pickett, and the Greg Kihn Band, just to name a few.
By the 1980's, and into the 90's, performing with the Irish trio The Core, he had moved to larger stages like Crissy Field for a 4th of July show that drew some 20 thousand people.
Scott joined Claddagh in the mid 90's, and continued to enjoy large audiences, and local television performances. During these years, the band was called on to play many private parties, hosted by the local politico's; and tapped for other City venues such as The Palace of Fine Arts.
It was during his time with Claddagh that Scott had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Van Morrison, and later, Shanna Morrison. But the highlight for Scott came in 2002, when the band toured Ireland.
Scott is currently a member of Atkinson Kincheloe & Beynon, along with Marty Atkinson, and George Kincheloe.
He still enjoys the occasional opportunity to play with other long time friends from the music community, as well as solo performances. Much of Scott's time these days is devoted to teaching guitar, and bass.
